How to Contribute

Please read the Terms and Conditions before contributing material.

We welcome photographs, videos, audio, and visual art that represent everyday Black girlhood.

Here's how to submit something to Digital Black Girls:

1. Before you submit, please be sure that you own and/or have the rights to the content you will submit.

2. If you are under 18, please be sure that you have permission from your parent(s) and/or legal guardian(s) to submit.

3. Once you have made sure of these steps, see the below contribution form. You may be invited to register an account in order to submit content.

4. Follow the registration instructions. Once you register, you will have instant access to the submission forms for 20 minutes.

5. Select the type of content you would like to contribute (story, photo, video, audio, or drawing/painting).

6. Upload your image, video, or audio file.

7. Enter a title, your name, and a description of that content you're submitting.

8. Select if you want the submission to be publicly displayed or maintained privately.

9. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you read the terms and conditions before clicking the "contribute" button.

10. Click "Contribute."

You must create an account or log in before contributing. You can still leave your identity to site visitors anonymous.
